TechHelp Manufacturing Specialists provide information and technical/professional assistance that helps Idaho manufacturers, processors and inventors accelerate growth and profitability through continuous product and process innovation. TechHelp is a partnership of Idaho's three state universities providing services throughout the state. TechHelp is Idaho's affiliate of the National Institute of Standards and Technology Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NIST MEP); a national network of manufacturing experts offering advanced manufacturing solutions. As Idaho's Economic Development Administration University Center, TechHelp focuses on creating growth and jobs in economically distressed areas of Idaho.
The Lean Expert Development Program (LEDP) will prepare Lean Leaders to lead sustainable continuous improvement activities in ANY business environment. The LEPD Program specifically focuses on the HUMAN and CULTURAL aspects of change that doom 80% of Lean initiatives. The program is designed to meet the needs of organizations that have tried other Continuous Improvement Initiatives and struggled to sustain them. The program kicks off on June 2 in Post Falls and the Fall 2014 in Boise.
