Principles of Lean Accounting

We are pleased to be able to bring you Brian Maskell's Lean Accounting workshop on March 5, 2008. In order to accomodate all those who wish to attend, we have moved this event to a larger room at the Boise Centre on the Grove.

Description

Companies making the transition from traditional manufacturing to Lean soon find that their conventional accounting, control, and measurement systems become a road-block.

The purpose of the Lean Accounting workshop is to provide an introduction to the methods of Lean Accounting that are designed to actively support the Lean transformation; help grow your business by providing better information for decision-making, provides Lean-focus measurements and reporting that motivate Lean change; shows the true financial impact of Lean improvement leading to growth and profitability, provides information that is clear and understandable to everyone containing no obscure financial language and is, itself Lean, Simple, and Low Waste.
 

Instructor:

Your facilitator is none other than Brian Maskell, of BMA Inc. Brian has more than 25 years’ experience in the manufacturing and distribution industries.. He specializes in the practical introduction of Lean management methods and thinking. He has developed a comprehensive approach to Lean Accounting; the accounting control, and management processes required by companies transitioning to becoming Lean Enterprises!
You will learn: why traditional accounting is harmful to the Lean transformation; the principle methods of Lean Accounting and how to approach the implementation of Lean Accounting.
The outcome of the workshop is an action plan for the implementation of Lean Accounting at your plant or company.

CANCELLATION POLICY
