As TechHelp's marketing manager, Bill's primary goal is to make Idaho manufacturers, processors and inventors aware of TechHelp services they can use to improve their global competitiveness. Bill communicates through the TechHelp Web site, newsletter, news releases, social networking tools, ads and through an extensive network of economic development partners.
Bill works directly with TechHelp clients as a growth specialist. He was certified as a Eureka! Growth Coach in the summer of 2007 and helped introduce the Eureka! Winning Ways growth program in Idaho. Bill works with the Idaho District Export Council to help Idaho companies take advantage of export opportunities. In early 2009, Bill worked with the DEC and U.S. Commercial Service to launch the Export Excellence fast-track export program.
Bill's experience includes sales, marketing, communications and teaching positions with Qwest Communications, the US West Technology Outreach Program, the US West eBITS program, Schweitzer Mountain Resort, Olin Corporation, Northrop Grumman and the US Air Force. Bill began his work career at Frey Tool and Manufacturing company in Chicago where he worked his way through high school running a variety of machine shop equipment including an early version of a numerically controlled mill.
Bill earned a Master of International Management Degree at the Thunderbird School of International Management in Glendale, AZ and a Bachelors Degree in Business & Economics at Eastern Washington University in Cheney, WA.
