NorthwestTAAC
Assistance for U.S. Manufacturers Impacted by Import Competition

  • Have you been in business for at least 2 years?
  • Is it becoming more difficult for your company to compete in the global marketplace?
  • Have your sales or production declined due, in part, to competition from imports?
  • Has foreign competition caused you to layoff employees or cut work hours?

If you answered “yes” to any of one these questions, your company could be eligible for federal grant funding to help it remain viable and competitive in the global marketplace.

Since 1979, NWTAAC has assisted manufacturing, agricultural and seafood companies in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington grow and increase their profitability. NWTAAC provides federal funding, technical expertise and planning assistance to aid qualifying companies in making the strategic changes necessary to remain competitive. Throughout its 25+ year history, NWTAAC has helped hundreds of firms adjust to changing markets.

NWTAAC funds can be used to help you implement Lean Manufacturing programs that can help you improve efficiency & customer service. Funds can also be used to support TechHelp Growth Programs that can help you grow through new ideas for products, markets and messages.

“With the help of our grant money from NWTAAC, we were able to enhance web-based tools, increasing functionality, and also add completely new functions that were cost prohibitive without the funding.  This helps sales by aiding our customers, as well as keeping our national sales team in touch. The advantage of having this extra cushion allowed us to make some “vision goals” and “wish list” items a reality. We are grateful for the help”

David Fenton, Director of Marketing, Woodland Furniture
