Help and $$$ Available For Your CMMC Cyber Assessment

The Cybersecurity Maturity  Model Certification (CMMC) program is aligned with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) information security requirements for Defense Industrial Base (DIB) partners. If your organization doesn’t meet minimum CMMC-level requirements, you may be unable to bid on certain grants and contracts.

TechHelp in partnership with the Institute for Pervasive Cybersecurity (IPC)  at Boise State is looking for a few companies to complete a CMMC level 1 or level 2 assessment through August of 2023. A CMMC assessment starts your company on the path to certification in cyber security, which would allow you to seek grant funding for further certification. The assessment will raise your awareness of critical steps to implement foundational cybersecurity protection needs.

The project would consist of a qualified cybersecurity student engineer teamed with an IPC professional staff member who provides guidance and oversight to the student throughout the duration of the project. Your company will be responsible for completing a brief survey followed by a commitment of between 10-20 hrs. of dedicated time with our team to complete the evaluation. At the end of the process, you will be given a final report with suggestions to reach your desired level of CMMC certification.

Though not always the case, we do have grant funding available to assist with project costs for the assessment if executed between the spring and summer of 2023.

If your organization doesn’t meet minimum CMMC level requirements, you may be unable to bid on contracts and lose revenue. In extreme cases, you could even face business closure. You also may expose your business to other cyber threats.
