Robert Kinney ME Student – Consumer Product Development Specialist – Boise

Since my first STEM summer camp working with Lego Mindstorm robots, I have had a passion for EE and computers. I believe it was this camp that has influenced my decision to pursue this career. My interest in engineering allows me to pick up information and concepts quickly and adapt to the ever-changing field. Working as a learning assistant for physics courses communicating and articulate tougher concepts is a strong point of mine. Achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, the Scout’s highest honor required many leadership positions within the Troop. This and attending and completing National Youth Leadership training has served me when working with teams and through conflict resolution.

My long-term goals stem from my passion for robotics and computers. I would like to work in the industry for 10-15 years then venture off and pursue my own business. My main goal for the future is to make an impact in this field through my hard work, creativity, and diligence.
