studio/Blu houses a product development team located on the campus at Boise State University. Our full-time and student employees work with entrepreneurs, start-ups, and established companies from within a variety of industries on projects of all sizes. Since 2001, we have specialized in concept development, design engineering, and prototyping solutions. For your prototyping needs, we offer on-demand 3D printing and RTV mold-making services.
The Boise State Innovation Engineering Studio is located in the Harry Morrison Civil Engineering Building. The EIS is filled with state-of-the-art equipment and is open to students, faculty, and staff to work on school-related projects. Students working on academic projects will be given priority over others. Users must complete training associated with the various shop tools before they will be allowed to use them. Each training level, or “tag”, allows them access to different resources.
The COBE Funding Accelerator is a partnership between the Boise State College of Business and Economics (COBE) and VentureCapital.Org (VCO). The program gives innovative entrepreneurs a much higher probability of success in raising the critical investment capital necessary for them to grow their businesses in Idaho. The program gives entrepreneurs access to professionals with rich backgrounds in investment and entrepreneurism and to service providers who specialize in working with early-stage emerging companies.
TechHelp is working with Boise’s Vessel to meet the supply needs of Idaho manufacturers and to help Idaho manufacturers meet the needs of other companies throughout the U.S. The Idaho Program is built on the National Supplier Scouting Program of the Manufacturing Extension Partnership or MEP that connects the capabilities, capacities, and business interests of U.S. manufacturers with the needs and business opportunities of various manufacturing supply chains.
