From offices in Boise, Post Falls, Twin Falls, and Pocatello, TechHelp Specialists help Idaho manufacturers, food processors and entrepreneurs improve their competitiveness through continuous product and process innovation.

Because TechHelp is a partnership of Idaho’s three state universities, our staff members are positioned to provide information, training, and services to manufacturers statewide. Our staff consists of seasoned industry professionals and university student employees, interns, and graduate assistants who gain front-line industry experience working with our clients.

The members of our experienced Operational Excellence Team can help you produce more efficiently. Our team has experience in all phases of manufacturing and can work with you to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions within your organization.

TechHelp’s Idaho-based Food Manufacturing Team includes university faculty, agricultural extension resources, and internationally recognized contracted partners. Our full-time and student employees work with entrepreneurs, start-ups, and established companies from within a variety of industries on projects of all sizes. Since 2001, we have specialized in concept development, design engineering, and prototyping solutions. For your prototyping needs, we offer on-demand 3D printing and RTV mold-making services.

The Boise State Innovation Engineering Studio is located in the Harry Morrison Civil Engineering Building. The EIS is filled with state-of-the-art equipment and is open to students, faculty, and staff to work on school-related projects. Students working on academic projects will be given priority over others. Users must complete training associated with the various shop tools before they will be allowed to use them. Each training level, or “tag”, allows them access to different resources.

The COBE Funding Accelerator is a partnership between the Boise State College of Business and Economics (COBE) and VentureCapital.Org (VCO). The program gives innovative entrepreneurs a much higher probability of success in raising the critical investment capital necessary for them to grow their businesses in Idaho. The program gives entrepreneurs access to professionals with rich backgrounds in investment and entrepreneurism and to service providers who specialize in working with early-stage emerging companies. Graduate Student Project Leader, Nicole Hamblim, is putting together a team of students available to help meet the needs of candidates.
