Madelyn Cudworth – Student – Engineering Innovation Studio Technician – Boise

Madelyn is a Sophomore in Mechanical Engineering at Boise State. She is currently working with robotics and has an interest in their design and development. She also has an interest in aerospace engineering and astronautics research.

As a Robot Control Lab Undergraduate Research Assistant, Madelyn researched and developed robotic functions. She wrote and implemented code using Python and Robot Operating System (ROS).

As the Engineering Innovation Studio Shop Supervisor, Madelyn worked in the Boise State machine shop and learned how to operate different types of machinery (i.e. Lathes, CNC Mills, Welding, Soldering, 3D printing, etc.). She also helped with student and faculty machining projects as well as assisting students using the shop and training on the machines and tools.
